What is DAP:
DAP is a wordpress plugin which used to create membership area.
Why to use DAP :
We useDAP for delivering our Digital products such as Themes and Plugins . As DAP has built in support for various affiliate networks like Jvzoo , Dealguardian , Warrior plus its became easy to manage our customers using DAP.
Prerequisites: So as to use DAP we need to have WordPress setup where DAP plugin is installed.
For our organisation we have installed this plugin at http://members.dfythemes.com/ from where we deliver our products to clients. Before setting up MEmbership area always make sure you have added products under Jvzoo or any other networks. You should also create Download pages of which you are creating Membership area for.
Process :
- Login into our members area first form below link. http://members.dfythemes.com/wp-admin/
- After logging in select Digital Access Pass (DAP).
- Then you have to create product that you are wishing to deliver. It’s always recommended to Clone existing product so that we won’t have to worry about Email setup and other integration related functionality.Goto Products-> Manage Products .
- Select any product from the list and say ‘Save As New’ . This will create copy of your selected product.
- Select Any product
- Hit ‘Save as New’ for cloning your existing product.
- Give correct name and description for your product. This step plays important role in integration with Affiliate Newtorks like JVzoo. Always double check if you are putting exact product name as you have set in your Jvzoo or other account.
- Provide your sales page url.
5) Then under pricing section add your appropriate product pricing or you can leave these fields as it is.
6) You can leave notification settings as it is.
7) Then under Content responder you have to assign appropriate download pages for your product. These pages could be Product download page and other bonuses pages.
- Choose your download page.
- Hit ‘Protect Selected’
- Use this button to remove your previously added pages that we don’t want to include.
8) Rest of the setting we have to keep as it is.
9) Finally hit ‘Save Product’ button for saving your product.
10) You have to repeat these steps for creating other products under same funnel.
What Can go Wrong:
Case 1) Always double check if you are assigning exact title to your product using which you have saved with. If you are copying title directly from Jvzoo or dealguardian then first paste it in Notepad file and from there you have copy and paste. If any white space is gets copied with the title that time our users won’t get access to product after purchase.
Case 2) After creating products always add any dummy customer manually to your product and test if it’s getting appropriate page access.
